We were very pleased with the service by Caplans. Our kitchen designer arranged for an appointment for us. We greeted at the door by Mr Caplan and then handed over to knowledgable sale representative Jeff who explained all the details of each appliance. While we waited for bill to be drawn up we were invited to have lunch in their demonstration kitchen. I would recommend anyone looking for appliances to go there first before going any where else. You won't be disappointed.

Tony Rende was a VERY helpful, consulting salesrep. We bought: GE-Monogram, gas range/elec convection oven (awesome!); Monogram range hood; Samsung fridge; KitchenAid dishwasher (very quiet!); & Panasonic microwave. Very pleased, so far, w/ all appliance choices. Delivery was on schedule, but just, "ok."

Caplan's has the selection and the service that anyone could need. They specialise in appliances and were great in helping us get everything we needed within our budget and time frame. I have recommended them over and over again.

As many have said, we shopped around but no one could beat the selection and price from Caplan's. Joseph our salesperson was top-notch and was always just a phone call away to answer a question. Excellent sales experience - 5 stars!

Now the bad part. The delivery people were very careless with our new home and our appliances. Using a vice-grip to hold a door closer in place when 1 screw would have just disabled it is just lazy and ignorant. Turned the washing machine upside down to install the pedestal and yet still failed to use all the required hardware. Also failed to hook up water line for steam to dryer and to ensure that both machines were level and of even height. Now I have to wait for a service tech to come out and make things right. Mr.Caplan, you need to hire better delivery people - 1 star.

Sales staff were very knowlegeable regarding product lines helping me choose exactly what I needed. Overall great value for the money. As a custom home builder I would recommend this retailer to any of my own clients.

Salesman was very helpful in finding refrigerator that fit our space. Delivery was on schedule. I appreciated the follow-up call after delivery & the fact that someone was dispatched to level fridge. The delivery men scuffed hardwood floor during delivery/remaoval of old fridge. More attention should be given to covering wooden floors during delivery. I discovered that side on fridge door is dented & am now awaiting delivery of repalcement door.

Paul Turner was extraordinarily knowledgeable about all of the appliances we were purchasing - he explained the differences between brands and price categories clearly so that we could make an educated decision on what we wanted/needed for our new kitchen. He took his time and methodically went over each appliance (we were buying 6 appliances). There was no "you get what you pay for" - indeed we did not buy the most expensive appliances all across the board as Paul stresses value for money spent.

Delivery was on time, quick and painless.

In addition, he ensured that we would be invited to any lessons that they hold on how to use the appliances - Caplans has two kitchens where they demonstrate the functionality of various appliances (I believe Dacor and Miele are two brands that are definitely used in their "classes").

We highly recommend Caplans for their knowledge (Paul) and overall for their excellent client service!

Very curtious and efficient but left all the packaging behind on the driveway. Since Toronto has limited size garbage bins I now have to buy a tag to put the extra garbage out.

Take your garbage with you when you leave.

I can't say enough about how pleased we were with our experience with Caplan's! From my first meeting with Jeremy who explained all of the details of the appliances I was interested in, and John the manager who worked with Jeremy on the best price I had found, to the impeccable delivery and trouble shooting over the phone with Liz...from start to finish, our experience was fabulous! I will recommend Caplan's to anyone who is looking for appliances - you guys are wonderful!

Caplan's provided the exact fridge, range, dishwasher, and microwave that we'd been looking for, best prices, very fast and careful delivery. Our sales consultant, Elias Jamil, was always available, always helpful. We would definitely recommend Caplan's to anyone buying appliances.

We've bought our appliances at Caplan's for 25 years and always been happy. This time was not up to the usual. Our salesperson was not that helpful and only made an effort when a better salesperson started to present the same dishwasher I was looking at to another customer. In the end I bought a dishwasher without seeing it. I saw a small picture on the internet. Not much help. The store had relatively few models on display. I was told to call the store at 9:00am on the day of delivery to find out the 2 hour window when my new Bosch dishwasher would be delivered. No one answered the phone for 2 hours on a Tuesday morning. My wife finally got through at 11:00am after my day was already ruined. The delivery guys were very good as they always are. I just don't like to spend $1700 on a dishwasher and not really know what I'm getting.

Elias was great and helped us in every way from out of town delivery to dealing with the problem with the vent hood (the wrong one had been sent) and the range fix (the stove had a knob that was sticking out). The less than 5 star was because of those two problems, and not a reflection on the service. Jeff.

I requested for a quote on-line for a specific kitchen appliance. The response was prompt and was happy to hear that the price was less expensive than quoted in other places. When I went to the showroom, the lady who gave me a quote was there to help me with the purchase. Everything went smoothly and the product was delivered and installed the very next day. I highly recommend Caplan's Appliances.

Not only was the salesperson who helped us knowledgeable and honest in his opinions, the prices were the cheapest we could find for the appliances we wanted. We bought a stove-vent hood and a dishwasher from Caplans. They will be our first stop for new appliances from now on!

Excellent salesperson, Debbie Allen. Great to have washer delivered in 2 business days. Problem with installation. Suggest you make sure your staff check that 1. Connection is tight enough (ours leaked), and 2. That hot and cold are connected to correct taps (ours were reversed). These 2 mistakes required 2 serviced callbacks and the latter could have resulted in shrinkage of our clothes as we typically only use cold water washes. Therefore, our first wash only delivered very hot water!!

I looked all over, got quotes from various stores, and even if I went to five different places to buy the individual pieces, buying it all from Caplan's was still cheaper.

Debbie, our customer service rep at the store, was amazing. Available on e-mail, on the phone, or in person. Checking measurements for the renovation. Great attention to detail.

Delivery was fast, and their delivery staff were courteous. When I had to cancel and reschedule a delivery at the last minute, they didn't even blink. Just said no problem. I'll never go anywhere else.
