Service was quick and helpful (and sensitive enough to leave us alone to debate relative merit of the choices). It took us no more than 30 min to be in and out. They recommended an installer who was fabulous -- on time, solved a previous problem in the hook-up, left everything clean, and gave maintenance advice. Couldn't have been more painless! Thanks --

We purchased a washer/dryer set - we were at the store on Tuesday and they were delivered, set up and all the boxes taken away - good service from the sales person to the gents on the deliver truck.

I had compared prices at various locations of appliance dealers before visiting Caplan's thinking that the good name of Caplan's would charge more. Much to my surprise, the cost of the dishwasher that I wanted was much less than other quotes. The salesperson was most knowledgeable and pointed out the features of all the models and inquired which I would use and need. It was most helpful and the delivery and installation were amazingly quick. I will never go to any other dealer for appliances again. I will save myself a lot of time and energy by visiting and purchasing from Caplan's right away. thank you Caplan's salesperson Tony Rende

From the moment we walked in, we were very pleased with the service. Everyone was friendly and not pressuring us. Our salesperson, Jeremy, was lovely to deal with. He highlighted the differences between appliances, showed us the scratch and dent' specials and didn't try to upsell us to something we didn't want. All in all, a great experience.

Our kitchen renovator recommended Caplan's, which we have never heard of before. Before going, we checked out Sear's, Tasco and Goemans. They do not compare at all to Caplan's. First the price. Caplan's has the best price of all the stores we checked out. Second, the service. This is the only store I've been to that has a greeter at the door who will get a sales associate when you need one. The sales associate was knowledgeable and helpful and he was not pushy. Third, the selection. They had a wide selection of appliances and brands. To top it off they were serving cookies and bottled water the day we went.
The delivery men were professional. They took our old stove for us which was a relief. And the store called the following business day to follow-up on the appliances that were delivered.
This is definitely one of the best shopping experiences I have had. I already recommended this store to a friend and I will continue to do so. When it's time to replace my washer and dryer I am definitely coming back!

I bought a Jen Air, 22" B/M Fridge,I&W ELEC CNTRL
on 18/06/2010 from Leonard Pleasant. The delivery date was
promised for June 28th.
It arrived on the 28th as promised. The installers were
prompt and very efficient.
Leonard was a very knowledgeable and personable salesman.
My experience with Caplans would certainly warrent my
dealing with them for any future appliances.

We were very pleased with the sales experience. Joseph Giorgio, our salesperson, was very knowlegeable about the products and was very helpful in answering our questions, both in person and on the phone. We were impressed by the fact that promises about delivery and installation dates were kept and accommodated our needs. We are enjoying our appliances and feel confident that we made the right decision on buying them at Caplans.

Bought a new dishwasher from Frank Minella. He was knowledgeable and not at all pushy - very much a no-pressure sale. Very good experience, will purchase the rest of my appliances from Caplans.

Tried Caplan's on the strength of a newspaper ad even tho we had not been impressed the last time we were in there about 20 years ago. First surprise - showroom was bright and cheerful as were the staff. Second surprise - the prices were quite competitive. Third surprise - they delivered exactly when they said they would. Joseph Giorgio was very helpful.
Only glitch - Samsung sent the wrong handles: NOT Caplan's fault!

This is in response to your enquiry regarding service. I was very pleased with the service in the store and also by the delivery men. They were polite and helpful. The service gets five stars. The frig is less satisfactory, as explained below.

The door on the frig is very hard to open. I have to pull on the handle with all my might. The muscles in my back are getting sore from the effort. Bottles stored on the door make a tremendous clatter. (I have started storing them in the main frig.) Can this problem be rectified?

We had a great experience at Caplan's thanks to our great sales rep Pierre Jamil. He was efficient and helpful without putting pressure on us which was all the more incentive to buy from Caplan's. When we ran into some unexpected issues during our renovation that affected our appliance selections, Pierre crefully worked through things with us to resolve the issue. Plus, he's affable and easy to get along with! Also, Caplan's always had lots of staff, even manufacturers reps sometimes, good deals and sometimes cookies too!

Over the past year, we have bought a dishwasher, fridge, washer and dryer from Caplan's and we couldn't be happier with the experience.

Originally, we came in because our dishwasher broke down and we were desperate to replace it (our son was less than a year at the time and went through bottles, bowls, etc. at an incredible rate). Though we originally felt foolish for sharing our level of desperation with Jeff, he found the dishwasher that not only met our needs, but also fit UNDER our budget!

When we needed to replace the fridge shortly thereafter, there was no question of where we were going to go. He made a point of asking several questions to make sure we had the best style for our home and, though there were several pricier options, he recommended one that was the best choice for us. The story reads very much the same for our new washer and dryer.

The products are high quality and efficient (Jeff even helped us with the various energy rebate forms), the delivery service was unbelievable (the guys even cleaned the floor under our old dryer before putting in the new stuff) and we couldn't be happier with shopping at Caplan's.

Without question, we recommend Jeff Hoogendam and the staff at Caplan's (we wouldn't bother with writing a review if we weren't blown away).

Very helpful sales person, Joe Steduto. Delivery as promised by polite, efficient people. Liked Caplans policy of calling before & after delivery & follow-up letter. This kind of service brings customers back. Refreshing contrast to last appliance dealer I dealt with.
