I found the sales staff to be very knowledgeable about all of the products and very helpful in helping me make a decision. I especially appreciated their patience as I was very undecided as to which appliances to select. I am very pleased with my choices and would certainly recommend Caplans to any future buyer.

We visited Caplans on March 6,2010 for the first time. Sales staff were all friendly and willing to help. We were approached by Pierre who looked after us quite capably. He was very knowledgeable and offered product information that we were not aware of. I like that. We didn't have to ask all the necessary questions. We got excellent prices on appliances that were on sale. Aside from that, we left feeling happy that we bought at Caplans. Also as an added bonus, they bake delicious snacks and provide coffee at no charge. Thank you Caplans!

When I wanted to buy more bags for the vacuum and a hepa filter which happened to be out of stock, she took the time to place the order for me and called me when she received the items.

The sales process was fine and I am happy with my fridge, but I received what I thought was the wrong ice maker attachment.

It took a few days to reach someone in customer support, who then told me that the one I received was equivalent to the model number listed on the fridge. She was correct and very polite about it (the instructions left out some key steps). Everything is fine now.

As a Facilities Manager I purchase appliances for my offices all over Canada. My husband and I are in the process of renovating our kitchen so needed to get appliances for ourselves. We visited Caplan's and was very impressed with Pierre Jamil our sales person who took excellent care of us and provided all the necessary information needed to make our selections. When our new Thermadore gas stove was to be delivered, the serivce department advised us of a 2 hour window for delivery (amazing). Then the delivery team called when they were 20 minutes from our home. Later that afternoon we received another call to see if we were happy. This customer service is exceptional and rarely found today. I will purchase more products from Caplan's and recommend them to anyone I know who is looking for appliances.

Considering my main shopping was done during the after Xmas sale, service was well organized and staff was helpful. Good selection and knowledgeable staff. Coupled with good prices it made it an easy decision to buy at Caplans. I'll return to price out other items in the future.

We recently purchased a GE Profile stove from Caplans.  After visiting a few other stores we chose to purchase from Caplans for a few reasons:- knowledgeable salesperson- many choices to choose from- best price we could find- lowest cost for delivery and take away old applicanceWith regards to delivery, their system is very efficient.  The delivery team arrived right on time and quickly and efficiently removed old stove and set up new one.  We were very impressed and based on this experience would purchase from Caplans again.

I have purchased other appliances here and had good experiences. My salesperson was Mario, and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He advised me when delivery time was delayed due to a delay at GE. The delivery went as scheduled. My only complaint was that this stove had a very low back plate, and my electrician had already lowered my wiring box to standard, so the stove stuck out from the wall. It all worked out in the end, but it would have saved me time and trouble if I had known that stoves have different heights of back plates.

Our sales person was Joseph Giorgio. I have purchsed from Caplans in the past and for this reason I returned to buy my washer/dryer combo. It had been many years since I had purchased a set. I knew that I was interested in the front load style. I told Joe that I was interested in something middle of the road price range. He immediately brought me downstairs to the Bosch display. I knew I would not be disappointed since my experience with Bosch has been excellent. At no time did Joe try to sway me to higher priced models. He was very knowledgeable of the product. He did ask if I had the silver dryer chute as required with the dryer. ( I told him that I had replaced the old once years ago since reading about the fire hazzards of the plastic chutes regardless of brand. Delivery was prompt... installation and removal of old appliances were all free. My only sugggestion is that Caplans should inform buyers who have the early delivery by calling them the night "before". I was told to call the office after nine to find out my apporx. delivery time...The delivery was at 8:30! I also appreciated the follow up call from Caplan's to see if we were satisfied with the delivery. That's good PR!!!!!

The entire experience was exceptionally good......from the professional, knowledgeable, salesperson through to delivery, everything was perfect.
And,the pricing was very competitive.....we got 2 other quotes on the same appliances, and Caplans were slightly lower than both others.

We had purchased a dishwasher from Caplan's a few years back, so when we are shopping for a washer/dryer pair it was natural to check Caplan's out again. The showrooms were much nicer and brighter than I remembered, and prices are still very competitive. Salespersons were knowledgeable and helpful. We went back on a Sunday to make the purchase and had to wait about half an hour to speak to a salesperson. Good thing they have a cartoon on for our young son who would have been restless. Delivery was fast and efficient, and our old appliances were taken away without charge. The only complaint? We had plastic ducts with the old dryer. Somehow neither the salesperson nor the installation guys remember to tell us that this doesn't work with the new high efficient Bosch dryer (for being a fire hazard). I only find out when going through the manuals afterwards. I called and Caplan's did promptly have it reinstalled. It was a drag because I had to stay home again to meet the installation guys. Overall, a good experience. I'd go back again for my next purchase!

After confirming the product was in stock and arranging a date for delivery when I purchased the item,it was a good thing I called the day of delivery to confirm. I was then notified the item was not in stock and delivery would not happen. Had I not called, I don't believe I would have been notified, as the Caplan contact had no idea the item was not on the truck. A later date was confirmed, and delivery happened when promised. Caplans quickly refunded my delivery charge without me asking. All in all, I will be back, and have advised others that Caplans is a first rate retailer.
