After visiting three other appliance retailers, we went to Caplan's Appliances. We had the pleasure of dealing with an extremely knowledgeable salesperson, Debbie Allan, who explained all the features and benefits of various models of appliances. At no time did we feel that we were being "upsold", and there was no pressure to place an order immediately. After going back to our car with the quote, we realized that there was no reason to consider any other retailers - the price was best, the service was superb - so we went back in the store and placed our order.

I was referred to Caplans by my brother who had bought a fridge and stove for his cottage. He was very happy with his price, service and delivery. So was I. Caplans gave me a fair price, a reasonable delivery window and they arrived when they said they would. They also followed up to make sure I was happy with my appliances. Class act.

We were buying 6 appliances for our 16th house, so we have extensive experience. We knew exactly what we wanted, so we didn't need to be "sold".
Quite simply, Mario was superb. He helped, made useful suggestions, and alerted us to options we had not thought of. He put our order together, obtained cu sheets for our renovation people, organized delivery, and subsequently followed up where needed.

I did a pretty thorough search and found the best price anywhere on a Whirlpool laundry set plus, I got a great deal on an 18" stainless steel dishwasher to boot! The staff were polite and friendly and I left there feeling very confident that I was given a fair deal on my purchase. I would have no issue going there again next time I'm in the market for a major appliance. Thank you Caplan's and thank you Paul and Jeff for your help.

Mario was our salesperson. He was knowledgeable about the six items we purchased, and was very quick to reply to emails or phone messages. His laid-back approach was a welcome change from other stores where I didn't have much faith in over-the-top salespeople, who the previous week were likely selling used cars. Of course, we haven't had any problems with our appliances, and that will be the true test of Caplans. My only complaint is that it was nigh on impossible to get a live person to answer the phone, very annoying, and the delivery people left the boxes, although they were broken down. Fortunately, my contractor took them, but Caplan's was supposed to take them. Delivery people were very good, and made a special delivery when an out-of-stock item came in.

We were thoroughly impressed with the service we received from Frank. He was knowledgable, helpful and available when we called. The only comment we have is when we went to pick up our 5 appliances the warehouse was not well signed and was difficult to find. Other than that we have nothing but glowing reviews with the price and service we received.

I raed some reviwes and thus far we have had a good experience. We recently purchased 4 kitchen appliances at Caplan's and the sales representative (Frank) was very knowledgeable and has always responded propmtly to our follow-up calls and questions.
I am hopeful for the quality service to continue shouddl we run into any problems with our appliances. I know if we neeed anything else in the future we will stop in at Caplan's first.

We've had a Viking induction range (with 4 year extended warranty), Bosch dishwasher and Vent-a-hood range delivered a month ago. Price for the range was, by far, the best we got from three quotes. Items came in stock and were delivered at least a week or two before quoted. Sales staff was knowledgeable, experienced and hepful. I would definitely buy from them again.
That said, Viking has one of the worst reputations in the industry (hence the extended warranty), so it remains to be seen how they back up a product when it (apparently inevitably) fails.

The decision is not whether to buy at Caplan's or not, but rather what to buy. Caplan's is my family's first/automatic choice when it comes to appliance shopping. We have come to expect knowledgeable sales staff, excellent customer service and a very professional delivery team.
We purchased a set of Kitchenaid kitchen appliances recently and encountered a problem with one of them. Caplan's staff were instrumental in helping us resolve the problem expeditiously.
Another purchase is pending - once I decide which manufacturer to go with.
My advice to purchasers: Do your own research on the products you're interested in, and don't just rely on the sales reps, knowledgeable as they are.
